The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) represents the pharmaceutical industry operating in Europe. Through its direct membership of 31 national associations and 40 leading pharmaceutical companies, EFPIA is the voice on the EU scene of 2,200 companies committed to researching, developping and bringing to patients new medicines that will improve health and the quality of life around the world.

The European Vaccine Manufacturers (EVM) is a specialised group within EFPIA, promoting a favourable environment for expanded vaccine protection and improved vaccine coverage in Europe, and to help sustain the innovative research and development capability of vaccine manufacturers in Europe in order to meet new challenges for innovative vaccine applications against infectious and other types of diseases.

The European Biopharmaceutical Enterprises (EBE) is the European trade association representing the needs and interests of biopharmaceutical companies of all sizes operating in Europe. EBE is a specialised group within EFPIA, providing targeted and results-oriented support for its membres, embracing policy advocacy, regulatory intelligence, strategic communication, business development, networking, education and training.
